Volker Wiendl from the University of Augsburg has created a nice demo which shows how to use Horde3D 0.11 (Beta) with a physics engine, namely the Bullet Physics Engine by former Havok senior engineer Erwin Coumans. Volker has also created a small library that makes it very easy to use simple physics for in your own applications.

Download is available from here:

Thanks Volker! :)

havoc must be unhappy about bullet physics and hardware physics
demo is great btw, simple but shows what can be done with it

Here is the link for physics demo, adapted to engine version beta 4.
https://www.sendspace.com/file/irdwcg
When I'll have time, I'll post an updated version of this sample, adapted to the latest version of the engine.

Post subject:  Re: Horde Physics Demo

I just build the demo, from the link you provided. but when the build finish, its come up with a fatal error  ....... here is the result.....
Code:
1>------ Build started: Project: Horde3DPhysics, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
1>  utXMLParser.cpp
1>  Horde3DPhysics.cpp
1>  egPhysics.cpp
1>egPhysics.cpp(29): fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'utMath.h': No such file or directory
1>  Generating Code...
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

Even i search that file "utMath.h" inside that demo, but the result is negetive, it's seems the file is not there in the demo archive......
It would be my pleasure if you replay me the text source code of the file{utMath.h} in next comment............ :|

This file is in the engine Shared directory. Check the demo C/C++ tab in the physics project - and find Additional Include Directories - it seems that the path to engine directory and Shared directory is not specified/is wrong.

Post subject:  Re: Horde Physics Demo

I've updated physics sample to the latest horde's version that is not currently pushed to main repository. Version for beta 4 will be uploaded later.
Repository is here: https://github.com/algts/Horde3DPhysics/tree/master
Currently only solution and project files for Visual Studio 2013 are provided.

If needed, engine repository is here: https://github.com/algts/Horde3D/tree/GLModern
