The project is nearly three years untouched now. We had a working demo but it was far from being polished so we decided not to release it. Unfortunately many team members had no time any more so we had to stop the project. Horde3D is a heavily improved version of the Aerosion engine (which was called yak3d ;) )

And what about the "Orchestral soundtrack and additional rocktracks"...?
Downloadable anywhere?

We had a soundtrack that was specifically composed for the project and one track was recorded by an orchestra. But due to time constraints of several of our team members we had to stop the project, that's why there is no downloadable version.
