I just wanted to let you know what I am planning for Horde3D for the next time.

One thing I am working on in cooperation with a friend of mine is a satisfying shadow implementation. We are currently experimenting with different techniques and if everything works as expected some nice soft shadows will be integrated in Horde3D quite soon.

Another thing I have to finish until the end of the year is facial animation support. My university wants to use lip synchronization for a project and so I will integrate morph targets in the engine.

There are many areas where performance can be improved but this has to wait until more of the base features are implemented. Anyway, I think this is the better way to go since performance improvements usually don't change anything at the interface and are more important when Horde3D is used by some more demanding projects.
