Just thought this would be interesting for this crowd.

The paper is not yet published, i got access to it thru one of the researchers. It concerns a new programming model to handle multi-core systems, and hybrid systems that are both multi-cpu and multi-gpu, or as they put it xPU systems.

Code:

The work is very interesting, and delicious food for thought. The frustration is that there isn't a public implementation of the work.

Enjoy!

Interesting paper. It looks like a similar approach to Apple's upcoming Grand Central/OpenCL architecture, although designed primarily for graphics rather than general purpose computation.
