Hi all, I noticed the sound extension is still LGPL, I was thinking about tweaking it for my project but I require it to be EPL and I can't seem to find the original author's email so I'm asking here if it is possible to change it to the EPL, thanks! I want to also improve/extend it to support sound input and more backends and plan to contribute back. |

The extension was entirely written by Fidora, so he is the only one who can change the license. If you want, you can try to contact him via a forum private message. |

I've relicensed the sound extension in the community svn to the more permissive MIT license. |

Hi Fidora, Thank you for changing the license, EPL would've been fine but MIT works as well. ![]() One quick question though, I've found the sound to be a little glitchy here and there and I was wondering if there's anything I could try to fix it, would I need to make a separate thread to fix it? I'm using openal-soft with pulseaudio so those two might be causing it. Thanks again |
